Multi room games

Are these games multi room? For example, can clues be hidden around the house? Or are these games focused around the dinner table?

My response:

The games require guests to talk to each other in private, so they're not suitable for a dinner table. (You can have dinner as part of the evening, but make sure you have large gaps between courses to allow the players to talk to each other. Or have an early dinner and play the game afterward.)

The clues depend on the game, but they are normally part of the players' backgrounds—they aren't (normally) hidden in different rooms.

I would happily host these games across several rooms (and have done so).

They often have game announcements, though, so it's helpful if everyone can gather in a single room to avoid needing to make multiple announcements.

I hope that makes sense.
