Murder mystery weekend

(Bocas del Toro, Panama)

Hi Steve.

What is your suggestion for a pirate-themed murder mystery weekend.

We are a small 10 people bed and breakfast in the Caribbean. We are thinking to offer this specialty weekend including everything but airfare. Friday through Sunday brunch.

My response:

Wow, that's quite exciting.

While there are several pirate games on my site, only Davy Jones' Locker suits the size of your party.

(By the way, you'd need a commercial licence from Freeform Games for this, but they aren't expensive.)

However, it (and the other games here) are designed to be played over an evening - not a whole weekend.

You could stretch things out by expanding the timetable - and maybe adding more events or pirate encounters. But I'm not sure how that would work - often the best way to make a game longer is to add new characters, but you are limited.

Or you could save the game for one evening, and add other pirate-related activities to the weekend. (Is there anything locally?)

Or come up with your own game, which is designed to last the whole weekend?

I hope that's helpful.

Don't know where to start?

Here's my suggested quick route through the site:

Step 1 - Go to Choosing a Game to choose the game that suits your party best.
