Hi there! Your games look really awesome and we would like to combine it with a wine tasting event with 20 to 24 people.
I am curious about how complex and difficult the game becomes with that many people. We don't want to bombard the players with an 8 page character booklet that they need to review.
This is a group of random people coming together and our objective is to ensure that they have a really good time and not be overwhelmed by the story, theme and complexity.
Can you please help suggest an appropriate game for us that won't be overly complex but fit the group size?
My response:
I really like the idea of a murder mystery set around a wine tasting event - I can imagine that appealing to a lot of my friends. But that's not really answering your question...
The interactive games (those by Freeform Games for example) tend to be very involving, in that in my experience they tend to occupy most of the attention of those involved. So by the sounds of it they wouldn't really suit your event.
You might want to take a look at the games by Mysteries-on-the-Net though. They involve 8-10 suspects who need to know the story, and everyone else plays a detective working in teams to solve the murder mystery.
If you can get a few people who are prepared to take on the detailed roles, then one of these might be acceptable.

Backstage Business - a 1980s rock music themed murder mystery for 18-22 guests.
Here's my suggested quick route through the site:
Step 1 - Go to Choosing a Game to choose the game that suits your party best.
Step 2 - Review the Tips for Hosts for helpful advice.
