Hi there, my mate and I are doing a joint birthday murder mystery night up in the Scottish highlands.
We're thinking of getting 25 people there. The setting is an old hunting lodge in the highlands. So a murder mystery of some Scottish theme / castles would be cool to explore.
The group is aged 25-30 and everyone enjoys role play and fun and games.
Happy for the night to last 3-4 hours, during that time we will have a sit down dinner all together in 2 long tables.
Have you got any reccomendations?
My response:
I can't think of anything with a specific Scottish or castle theme, but given the number of players you have, I suggest you look at these games and see if there's something you like the look of.
As you are roleplayers, I do suggest you look at the games by Freeform Games as they are really larps but with a murder mystery theme!
Click here to see games for 11-25 players.
Backstage Business - a 1980s rock music themed murder mystery for 18-22 guests.
Here's my suggested quick route through the site:
Step 1 - Go to Choosing a Game to choose the game that suits your party best.
Step 2 - Review the Tips for Hosts for helpful advice.
Step 3 - If you want to keep up to date with the latest murder mystery game news, click on my What's New page.
