(Nicola)
Hello, we (at work) are going to Paris for our Christmas party and i have been asked to organise a murder mystery to take place on the Eurostar from London.
We are 28 people and we are on the train for 2 hrs and 22 mins- do you think it is possible to have a successful murder mystery within those restrictions?!
Many thanks in advance for your help
Nicola
My response:
Logistically, I think you'd have difficulty with a fully interactive game, as everyone would need to keep moving around. I've not travelled the Eurostar, but I don't imagine that they're much roomier than a regular railway carriage...
I'm also not sure how the other occupants will take the murder mystery - they can be rather noisy.
(2.5 hours isn't too bad for playing time, provided that everyone has read their character before you set off - but as I say, I think the nature of a railway carriage is likely to be the challenge.)
You might want to take a look at the Mysteries-on-the-Net games, as they involve a few suspects which are interviewed by everyone else (playing teams of detectives). So the suspects could move around the carriage only, simplifying things.

Backstage Business - a 1980s rock music themed murder mystery for 18-22 guests.
Here's my suggested quick route through the site:
Step 1 - Go to Choosing a Game to choose the game that suits your party best.
Step 2 - Review the Tips for Hosts for helpful advice.
